a pathetic year in review
Happy New Year!
Here's to the end of yet another shitty year. I remember writing an entry for the new year of 2004 that was much more upbeat and almost optimistic. This one is not so much. Lets run down a few things that have occurred in 2004:
-started grad school and will be done in may.
-turned 22 and got hideously drunk and fell off a stool at ale house and spent the rest of the night puking.
-moved out of riverwind and into a nicer place.
-started a job at Great Oaks Village...a foster care facility, where I'm the youngest employee and everyone hates me b/c the kids actually like me.
-been turned down by a million and a half other places I've applied at.
-I don't think I gained a single friend this year, but I do believe I've lost some.
-learned that I suck at slot machines, even though there is no skill involved.
-saw a million and a half bands, such as: Linkin Park, Korn, Snoop Dog, Sugarcult, My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, New Found Glory, Hoobastank, Maroon 5, Breaking Benjamin, Story of the Year, Orgy, Three Days Grace, The Darkness, Adema, Dashboard Confessional, Gavin DeGraw, Yellowcard, Papa Roach, and sooo many more.
-Saw the most amazing show, Marilyn Manson, and was like a lil kid on Christmas
-went to 2 weddings, and i'm sure there will be many more to come, except mine.
It's sad that I really can't think of things. Then again I'm super tired and it took me over 2 hours to get home from Universal...over an hour was spent waiting to get out of the parking garage. Oh well. I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful night. Here's too a much better and brighter 2005. Night kids.
