(no subject)
Woo hoo! I'm done with yet another semester. All my finals are completed and turned in....heres hoping for straight As. I know that's a long shot, but a girl can dream can't she??? I'm done w/ grad school in May and yet I really have nothing to show for it. I still don't have a decent job and I'm really tired of applying for things.
This past week has been alright.
-Went and saw New Found Glory for free...thanks Lisa..or should I thank Brian..I don't know..lol. It was a great show. Reggie and the Full Effect was awesome..in their santa suits. And Fluxuation (still reggie) was hilarious. Nothing like a chunky guy coming out on stage in boxers, a too small shirt, hat and roller blades! I did come to find out after that Reggie is infact James, the keyboardist for the Get Up Kids. I love that dude! He's adorable and I want him to be my friend.
-Right after the show I went straight to work and was there until 9am. Man, getting those kids up for school is a diaster. Now I see why my parents always got so mad at me. Got home after 11am and went straight to sleep for a few hours.
-Thursday night was a night I had been waiting for for 10 years! It was Marilyn Manson night. Steph backed out on me at the last minute b/c she was sick but Heidi luckily went w/ me. The opening band, Slunt was just awful. Finally Marilyn Manson got on the stage in a room full of fog, swinging a chandilier and singing the boat right from Willy Wonka, which of course freaked Heidi out..hehe. From beginning to end the show was just absolutely amazing. THere was confetti and streamers and lots of hats and jackets and incredibly loud bass. I was like a lil kid on Christmas morning. I don't think the smile ever left my face. After the show I got to see John (Mackenzie's ex). I haven't seen him in like 2 years and he was on tour w/ Manson again. It was really cool to see him..I miss that guy.
-The past couple of days I've just been getting the rest of my work done and doing my finals.
-Laura and I did our Issues of Justice and Juvenile Justice finals last night and I got a 100% on the first one and 98% on the 2nd. So I'm pretty happy with those. I finished up my Nature of Crime final tonight and sent it in. It's a royal piece of shit..but oh well. The teacher loves me.
-Tomorrow night I'm going out w/ Mackenzie and Spongebob to the Ice thing at Gaylord Palms. I'm all about ice slides and 9 degree weather...lovely.
-Anywho..I think I'm gonna try and get some sleep now. Good luck w/ finals all. holla!
