(no subject)
Time for my kind-of-weekly update. Classes are going fine. Rehearsals are going well. (The director wants me to perm my hair or something...) I went to an actual college-type party on Friday. It was... amusing.
Family, well, that's messy. Something funny did happen today though.
James: You have a chance to create life, and that (gestures to me) is what you come up with?
Mom: We made you too.
James: What went wrong with that one? You (mom) were a cheerleader, and dad was a sports star. Rhandi's a cheerleader, and I'm a star in Basketball and football.
Mom: Things go wrong sometimes.
Me: (walking in with popcorn) Oh, well, I guess I'll just keep this to myself then.
Dad: Nooooooo!!! Not the popcorn!
James: Face it, your the wierd one. (leaves)
Me: Well, I feel loved.
Mom: You should, you are.
Me: But I'm the wierd one.
Dad: Yes, and you're proud of that.
Me: True, true. You may have the popcorn.
Ah, the life of the middle child.
