I failed the tilt table test. My heart is not working well enough to keep me standing more than 10 minutes.
No wonder I couldn't fucking handle the Eminem concert for shit.
I am hooked up to a monitor today watching my heart and by next week I should be on the road to repair and recovery.
It is very weird sitting in the cardiac section of the hospital at the age of 20. Everyone stares at me and I don't like it. I am 20 years old and I have a cardiologist... he is a Beaumont doctor.
Yesterday my boss called after my tests and I was all upset about it and trying not to cry anymore so he and my other boss made their best attempt to cheer me up. They then tried having lunch sent to me but i wasn't hungry so today at the door came a big vase filled with a dozen pink roses and a ton of daisies. They are so good to me at times. I never would have expected my bosses to have cared so much.
Anyhow, if anyone reading this (if there is anyone reading it) is ever told they need to have the tilt table test done, refuse it! It is the worst test in the world. Seriously that test is cruel and unusual punishment for someone who actually has the condition.
