a funny thing happened on the way to the puppet parade
so I went away for a while. "on tour." well mini-tour. (not to be confused with minotaur) ON BIKES!
we biked around RI and into Massachusetts for like two weeks, and played a few shows here and there. we built a gigantic silver tent out of adhesive mylar and played a (single) show with three different marching bands. you know, that sort of thing.
but the big news is that I found the thingy I use to get the pictures from my camera to the computer to you. (I moved, you see. across town, deeper into Olneyville RI USA). This doohickey being missing isn't the only reason I haven't posted in so forever, but it is certainly the most convenient and easiest to say!
this puppet I made is my favorite part though, certainly in terms of pictures. here is another one, to maybe give you a better idea of the scale:
(also note: well known side effect of big things being in the sun is that they create nice shady patches under them)
