haha i would have responded to everyone's happy thanksgiving texts but i keep running out of room.. but thanks for all of them
so i'll do another general bland turkey day post to annoy ya'll
HAPPY THANKSGIVING

today is a day that gives me conflicting feelings
on the one hand it's a day where we dress little oblivious children in costumes singing songs about turkeys with feathers on their head and face paint acting like "wild injuns" (with no thought to negative stereotypes they place on native americans) celebrate a false ideal of "peaceful pilgrim" ...who were basically religious fanatics or profiteering europeans that perpetuated a manifest destiny of destroying an entire indigenous people through manipulation, disease, bigotry, and violence...
(and if you just rolled your eyes or have no idea what i just said please take your head out of your ass and read a history book NOT written by a rich white heteronormative nationalist man)
but aside from that little bit of liberal rhetoric it's also a day to give thanks for all that you have. i just wanted to end this by saying how thankful i am for everyone in my life and that i've had in my life..
"No matter how sour life tastes I am still blessed to be able to taste it"
it's a good motto. have a wonderful night. hope everyone survives their family/lack-thereof
