a cfo and an intern walk into a bar...
ok, so the title really isn't relevant to what i was going to write about... i was just thinking about how our md cfo bought me a beer a few weeks ago. it was worth noting. if i've already mentioned it before, then, well, it was worth noting again.
actual conversation heard today:
person A- "if you could be any animal, what are your top 3 choices, besides dog or bird?"
person B- "is that really your question?!"
person A- "yeah, any animal..."
person B- "ok. a lion, so i could beat your ass"
person A- *laughs* "and the other two?"
person B- "by the time i get done with you, it doesn't really matter, right? i mean, you obviously wouldn't care if you were dead!"
usually, quotes are funnier out of context. but i will give a little bit of background, because it makes this quote even more hilarious... person A (the questioner) was one of the interns here at motorola. person B (the lion) was ed zander. yeah, he's the CEO of motorola. this happened during our intern picnic, when zander was doing a q&a session after his speech. this snippet of conversation was immediately following the one where zander tried to set up person A with another intern. he was like, "see! i'm not only a double e, a marketing guy, and a ceo... i can be a matchmaker, too!"
OMFG it was the funniest speech/q&a session ever. and i got a new frisbee. it was a good day.
