"I may not always love you, but long as there're stars above you..."

This is one of my favorite "love" songs. :)

I know I owe you guys a Europe update and I promise I'll get around to that soon. But this is just a "things going on" update.

Right now, Ravi and I are sitting on the couch. We were just flipping though channels while playing online and we left it on LPB (Louisiana Public Broadcasting) and people...these SHOWS. It reminds me of an episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia where one of the characters wants to go on public television and someone else says "Dude, they'll let anyone on there!" and then the camera pans up and there's this guy in his underwear dancing to techno in front of moving landscapes. These shows are just so...cheesy? There was this mother/daughter pair that did this painfully scripted show called "For Your Home" and this other show called "Christina Cooks" with this woman who went on and on and on and on about organic food. If I would have taken a shot every time she said "organic", I would have been on the floor in 15 minutes.

Earlier today, we went to the mall. Normally, I'd rather shop online, but I had coupons for free stuff that I couldn't get online. I ended up getting a new skirt, some capris, a couple of tank tops, a cute blouse for work and two new bras. Ravi bought he and I some roadside assistance kits (on sale at Sears!) and then he got a new camera (a D200). I might buy his D40 from him if he ends up liking the D200. (That sounds confusing, doesn't it? Basically, the D200 was on sale and Ravi had some coupons that got him about $80 off the sale price, so he decided to buy it, because the D200 has some notable advantages over the D40 like a metal body, better lens compatibility and weather-proofing. But its also heavier, has terrible battery life and not much difference in photo quality.)

Tomorrow, we're going to Earth Day. I wish I still had my bike, so we could ride there. I've been looking for one. Anyone know of anyone selling a cheap but decent bike?

This week has been super busy, especially work-wise. I came back to a TON of work that I finally put a dent in. There's more on the horizon though. Good thing I like my job :)

Basically, today has been about decompressing from the trip and the past week. Sure, we had last weekend, but that was also Easter, so we had that (which included cooking and driving all over) plus unpacking ad doing laundry, plus adjusting back to the time differences. It wasn't very relaxing. But today has been super lazy, besides the short trip the mall. We came home, heated up a frozen dinner, made a quick salad and lounged around in pajamas. And now I think we're about to watch Lost (we're on Season 4!), so I guess I'm off!
