Tina had a while between the end of her shift in sickbay and her
dinner plans with Len, so she went back to her quarters to change and relax for a while. She spent some time choosing a casual outfit, too charmed by Spock's reorganization of her closet to want to mess it all up again right away, and thus needing the extra minutes to figure out

Tina,
I hadn't heard from you since my last letter, so I guess you're doing fine on your own.
Some things have happened to me recently... I won't bore you with details, but I've had a change in thinking, a change in the way I look at myself and the universe around me, and now I am beginning to see all the mistakes I made, all the trouble I caused, and all the people I hurt.
In any event - I'm sorry for all the grief I caused you. If I could make it up to you I would, know that.
If you could find it in your heart to forgive me, even a little, I'd be grateful.
Wishing you the best,
Roger

She really hadn't been expecting to hear from Roger. Like, ever again. Especially after she'd ignored the message he sent last time she really hadn't been expecting to hear from him.
And she knew she should treat this message just like the last one, but...
Almost before she knew it, she was composing a quick response.
Roger,
I'm well, yes. I hope this letter finds you in good health also.
Thank you for your apology. I don't know if I'm in a place, myself, where I can be granting forgiveness, but I don't hold any ill will towards you. I'm happy that you're growing as a person. I've always wanted the best for you.
Sincerely,
Tina Chapel
She hit send.
It was a trite response, and she probably shouldn't have responded at all, but... Well, she'd done it.
She decided to head down to the mess early. She could wander the halls a bit or something, before meeting Len for dinner.
