(no subject)
Most of yesterday was spent either at UMass or at the Hangar with my new friend(?), Ken. Here's a list of what happened:
-Missed the wrong/late/argh! bus to the play I was supposed to see for my playwriting class
-Decided by 2:20 that I just wasn't going to make it and attended the UMass equivalent of Spring Carnival, or maybe just a section of UMass's equivalent. It was waaaaaaaaaay overshadowed by ours.
-Met Ken's friends at a car show - first car show!
-Met Ken's other friends in a dorm - UMass dorms are like ours!
-Ken's friends patiently taught me how to throw a frisbee (I'm bad at throwing but good at catching) and play volleyball (I'm not bad at all)
-Ate at the Hangar for the first time
-Rock Band with Ken's friends
-Kings (Oh I enjoy a good game of Kings every once in a while)
-Walking back to campus
-Having a fantastic conversation and good hugs in front of North
All in all, a really good day. Probably one of the more beautiful days I've ever had. UMass can be pretty in the spring, and it was nice to walk around campus and get acquainted with buildings I've never heard of, much less seen, before.
