t minus a few hours

i just got home after a 14 hour day at work. it's been crazy. i spent all day in disaster command centers, in shelters and with hospital reps. listening to disaster reports and all of the other reports about impending doom and destruction on tyler. i'm tired. there's an AP reporter staying with us which has just heightened the intensity in the office. we've got beds set up at work, and water and food. i feel like tomorrow will be a long day. a very long day. i'm going to try to get there before noon, because that's when all of the bad shit is supposed to hit. there's an eery feeling around town. i got home tonight, and my apartment complex was empty. the scanner was blowing up tonight with all kinds of weird calls. my bad feeling about this has not gone away.
