Sitting here, imagining the contexts and meanings of the political society which has been prescribed to me throughout the mix of my experience of life.
You know, a lot of people like to blame our social economic problems on the self-fulfilling prophecy but I find it hard to believe. The social construct of a person's outlook is developed most exponentially at a young and early age. From this stage it is oftentimes an against the tide struggle to overcome poverty. Such programs as affirmative action hope to close the width of such a gaping wound to our social economy but it is the education of these individuals that i worry about. By the time they realize what they needed to know, they should've known it several years prior in order for it to be useful. I know my ramblings are vague but, i'm just having trouble expressing this frustration that i feel.
I'm sitting here watching C-SPAN and the meeting about the economic budget for FY 2007 in light of Katrina and Rita. The congressional budget office director is taking the heat from all of these state representatives. He's basically full of economic theoreticals and vague expectations. It is a fierce argument between the two forces. The report is being picked apart yet what lacks from this entire flow of communication is human interest. Although the discussion of the economic status is in the interest of people supposedly it isn't really expressed in terms of human relation but rather statistics and peripherals of damage.
Now bush is talking about pakistan...jesus.
