What?!!? Nooo! Not the Hobbits!!
From one of my colleagues email giving advice to a couple of new students who will be sitting the overnight shifts on our lunar soil experiment:
"Enjoy your first night shifts. It is a good time to get work done (like grading and data analysis). Soon it will become a hard to shake hobbit."
Shaking a Hobbit doesn't seem like a very nice thing to do. And some Hobbits are friends of a very powerful wizard.
