It's been a slow day. I played some Civ 3. I think I've got more workers than the programmers expected anyone to ever get. I played some FFXI last night. Did some exploring, got barpetra, did a little "race" that might exist to make the trip to Norg cheaper. I also went to the Yhoator Outpost so I can use the outpost warp to it if I want. Some of the Tonberries out that way are summoners, which led to this thought, "Damn, I want a light elemental for a pet too."
In the wider world the "Akinola said" mess is defusing itself since people are starting to wonder if Akinola actually said anything. Course the situation still looks intractable, since neither side is actually listening to the other. Once they admit that the communion will probably break, but there's probably a few years before either side has to admit anything.
Hmm... if I didn't have work I'd get on FFXI... I'm in the mood to "remind" the Yags that my blm exists. Preferably with large scale blasting spells.
