Random stuff....
So Nathan is feeling better, thank god.... Aiden is so, so... He still has a running nose and cough. He's been waking up in the middle of the night coughing but goes back to sleep. Poor guy.
Friday - Nathan was till out of school. We took Marty to the airport for Phoenix. Nathan and I were so lazy we laid around all day till it was time to pick up Aiden. So Marty went to buy truck. We didn't tell anyone what we were doing to avoid all the questions. We had to go to Marty G-parents for dinner and draw names for Christmas. And everybody wanted to know where Marty was. Nathan told them the truth.... Poor kid got caught in the middle of it all. So we have a new/used truck. It is the same as we had before even the same color Silver. One major thing down. So now I am back to driving a big truck again. This one is a bit higher than our other one, so we need to get steps for it soon. I can hardle get the kids in their car seats.
Sat - We did some running around and Marty got back with the new truck about 2pm. So Nathan got excited and couldn't stop talking about it. We were going to a work dinner at Walts Wharf, it was ok. My dinner was not so good. I had lamb and was not impressed at all. Marty had a steak that was very good and then we went to Cold Stone. We were home by 8pm. Which was ok by us we were both very tired. Both kids were still up so we played for a while and then went to bed early.
Sun - We went to breakfast, then Marty took Nathan over to his friends to work on the race bike. YAY!!!! Aiden and I cleaned house and then he went down for a 3 1/2 hour nap : ). I cleaned Nathan's room and rearrange things. So much better. Nathan asked me why I moved thing around the house.
Mon - Did anyone feel the earthquake this morning? I didn't, but the power went out at my house and that woke me up. And I was sleeping pretty good. Nathan got up in the middle of the night and Marty went in to his bed. Which I was happy because Marty was snoring pretty good. We both are getting sick too. Aiden got up early again and was in a bad mood. I had to sit with him for about 20 mins before he would let me go.
Nathan is out of school this week also. So he came to work with me. He has been very good. But we will leave early because I know he is getting tired.
Tomorrow night we are going to Irvine Park for a Christmas Party for my SIL school. It should be fun but very cold. I just hope my kids do ok.
Question??? For those of you that have two kids share a room. How was the transition? With my boys being 2 yrs apart how it will work, because Aiden goes to bed way earlier then Nathan is ready. Aiden is still in a crib, Nathan was in a big bed at this time. But Aiden has never tried to get out of his crib, only twice when he was really mad. My plan was for the two older boys to share a room. But I am not sure how that will work, Nathan is so mean to Aiden and tells me all the time he does not want Aiden in his room. But I am thinking of trying now, just in case it does not work we still have time to do something different before the new baby comes. Any thoughts are helpful.
