Birthday celebrations
So the birthday! Great weekend. Not gonna lie. Friday I had to work during the day, obviously, but it was payday, so that's a bonus! After I deposited my check, I walked around SuperTarget waiting for Sam to get home so I could go watch Lost over at his place. Bought the new MCR cd, which I didn't realize had come out already. Yay for that! So I watched Lost with Sam and then met Ben back at my place to go look for costumes. I couldn't find anything awesome and cheap enough, so I had to figure out what to wear to swing dancing that night. I opted for a pair of jeans that (in my opinion) made my ass look amazing. So I wore those and a cute sparkly shirt. Had an absolutely AWESOME time at swing dancing, depsite the fact that my ex was there. I wasn't going to let that small fact bring me down! I danced with Kevin and Eric mostly, and then we left around 11:30 or so to go back to my place.
Drinking ensued, and people came over. A big thanks goes out to Beckariah, Mark and Faith, Mike, Ryan, Katie, Matt H, Ben, and Kevin for coming by and drinking and hanging out with me. Nicole was here too, but she was sleepin. Katie got me the awesomest gift. It was in a basket, and it has a ton of stuff meant to "pamper" myself, so they all were put in a diaper of their own. 28 diapers with something in them! I got two super cool-looking glasses, a bottle of wine, orange juice, a round bath pillow, a facial buff, a body buff, a beaded eye mask, spa facial stuff, bath salt, bubble bath, shower gel, a spa relaxing cd, hand and body soap, body lotion, hand smoother, hands nails and cuticle cream, a pack of six little nail polishes, a manicure set, moisturing gloves, a manicure clean-up pen, moisturing socks, a pedicure kit, spa lavendar foot soak, three candles, and a 2007 day calendar with girlfriend quotes. She rocks my face off. The rest of the evening consisted of drinking and hanging out. Ben can no longer complain because he has now seen me drunk.
Didn't get nearly enough sleep that night, going to bed close to 4 a.m. and waking up around 9 and not being able to get back to sleep. Had a fairly lazy day. Talked to my parents and sister to wish her a happy birthday as well and to see what her plans were for the day. Went out to say hi to Nicole at work before she got off, then went to Taco Bell with her. Went to the casino to get some free money that my mom sent. Came back and took a nap. Watched a movie and ate some food, then took a shower to get ready for the evening. Becky and I went out to Chris Perry's halloween party for a while, then left for a few reasons. After that I still wasn't at all tired, so I headed out to Lincoln to hang out with Mike and them. Stayed the night there. So I can't complain. Both the night going into my birthday and the night of my birthday, I got to cuddle and sleep with a hot boy. No complaints. And I got to make out with him. And a hot girl the night before. :-)
Today is a lazy day. Drove back here and haven't left since. Did the dishes, took a nap, and now I'm eating and about to go watch a movie for a bit. Then probably doing some homework before watching some tv and hopefully getting a good night's rest for once! Since over the weekend I probably got 12 hours of sleep or so. Which is normal for me over two days during the week, but I'm used to so much more over the weekends! Hope everybody else had a good weekend.
