(no subject)
Just watched Avatar. My sentiments are thus:
The CG (I watched it in 3D, by the way): OMGSOPRETTY! Seriously, the whole thing looked awesome. The soundtrack was pretty nice too.
Everything else: Meh. A big pile of meh. Even the cooler stuff that wasn't visual was overshadowed by the meh. Also, the subtitles for the Na'vi dialogue where hard to read.
TL;DR: Could be worse, could be better. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon, if you like special effects, all in wall.
