Update: LJ'er still in need
ETA: The oil situation was worse than thought, and there's all this fuckery again because of how the roommate broke the contract with the oil company and how long it takes to get money from paypal and stuff. The whole thing is a giant clusterfuck and is explained both in the new post I've linked below and in comments there. That $900? That paid off the old bill, but they want cash on delivery for any new oil, so without raising more $$ people are still cold.
So there's about $400 that needs to be raised. If you wanted to help before and then saw the need was met, the bad news is there's still need. The good news is you can still help.

Roommate fuckery has left an LJ'er with no heat and a $900 oil bill. This is life and death stuff this time of year. There's an ill teen involved and a cat and the person in need of help just got out of the hospital for a lung-related illness.
