I'm rm on Dreamwidth too. I have no content there at present. I have not yet made a decision about what I will do next, mainly because I'm still at Dragon*Con. But if you're switching to over there only and would like me to continue to have access to your awesomeness, that would be how.

Yeah, you have to actually turn that option on for the box to not grey out. I have only Facebook turned on, so for me the twitter option is always grey.

I just enabled Twitter briefly to test and looked at both my own f-locked entry and someone else's, and it would have allowed me to crosspost. No fix yet, it seems. (If one is coming.)

I think we're 'friended but they call it something less delusional' over there, but I'm not sure.
Is there going to be a mass exodus? Is mass&exodus redundant, given the origin of the word exodus?

I have friended you on dreamwidth since the last fiasco. I would love for you to friend me there. I post to LJ from there. I was Worldof_wonders there, but now I am using my Janus journal. http://janus.dreamwidth.org/profile I've been writing trans things, trying to become. If you want to read them. (I would really like it if you would read them.) I have a tie collection and a cufflink collection and a collection of gentleman's Victorian accessories? *tries to convince you* I also write Snape stories (and other HP stories.) I know you are not doing that any more, but they are there.

DW's news post last Thursday morning mentioned a lot of new members. Why do I totally not think this is a coincidence?

If you look at the statistics (available here: scroll down to "newbyday" for the end of August/beginning of Sept), the jump in account creation right now is enormous. It's gone from three-digit figures to nearly-five for the first four days of September.

Wow, that's nuts. No wonder they mentioned it in the news. Thanks for the link.

I think the only comparable bump is beginning of May-09, which is when "free" (ie by invite code) accounts became available.
