events at work
'tis all very boring lol.
Yesterday we had a power cut.
Fish went into shock, a few died (most have recovered which we are very surprised at) the resevouirs (or however you spell it) over flowed, causing half of out water to go all over the floor (I got soaked, typical huh?) Blokes running about panicking, lost the phones so mobiles came out to implement emergency plans (which none of us knew so we had to ring head office first to find out what they were, unprepared us? never!) we had to get the generator working, this is when we discover it is a 2nd hand one and deosn't *really* work, we managed to get the flow back over the fish (this is VERY important, we would have lost more fish) we than had to ring head office again and read all our orders out to them to get them to despatch (there were a lot, and mobiles get VERY hot when they are in use for a long time)
The power was only out for 2 hours, but it caused enough damage.
Today
People come to look at generator (power goes out again, but this time it was planed, so it wasn't *that* bad)
I was in at 5am in do stock take, the choice was come in early and leave pretty much on time, or come in normal time and stay late, so we got in early.
We had pizza for lunch *ummmmmmmmm pizza* and then we had beer at the end of the day.
I'm home now and have pretty much crashed so my night out has been rain checked.
I have to sort my room out to get new TV in, and then I might have a bath and then sit and watch a film or something.
