I love rent
well today was a long day. I had drinks at Zane's place last night to celebrate naomi's birthday and then after returned to the dorms to sleep. Woke up with horrible cotton mouth which I attribute to the dry marttini's that we had. I then got up at like 9am and had breakfast with niku who was worried about her housing application and rightfully so since the whole setup for van hoosen is so stupid. Then I went and took a shower and read/nap until about 3pm when I find out that Brian is having a major crisis on his hands and so I skipped my ISS to help him deal with it and calm him down. Niku was nice enough to bring me some dinner from TTO and then I got an invite from steve to go see rent with him and a few of his friends. So when we get there and after I had already met matt and JT I come to find out that David was there which was a little akward but cool and then I saw sam and christine and one of their friends and also Paul and then i met some more of steve's friends who showed up. I felt sort of out of place b/c they had already seen the movie and I hadn't and yes I have seen the play many times but the movie is never the same. I have to say over all the movie was for lack of a better word awesome with a capital A. I was singing along to the songs which I thought no one could here me but both Steve and David could which is kind of embarrassing since I sound horrible when I sing but they didnt say anything so that was nice. When the movie was over I followed Rodger out the doors and took care of my voicemails while I was waiting for them to get out of the crowd and when I turned around everyone was gone and I couldnt get back in so I went around to the other side and they werent their either so I just started to head back and I called them and they thought I just ditched them. So David was nice enough to drive over to farm lane and pick me up and take me to the dorm. I get in the room and to my surprize Jimbo isnt back so I start in on my homework and come to find out everyone was hanging out at Steve's but I had way too much shit to do to be able to go over and socialize even though I really wish I could have. However in a few hours I have MMG and I know we are going to have a quiz and also I had to get some of the physics done tonight or I would be swamped tomorrow. So now I am working on one of the practice tests for MMG and kind of re-reading everything to make sure I know it. It just occured to me that I dont have anyone to go see Lion King with so I guess I have to find someone to go on short notice for Febuary 5th. Oh well back to the great land of studying.
