[Look, I think Zero and Kaname are loved and hated equally.]

Hmmm. Kaname may outnumber Zero in Japan, but that's only Japan. In the West, Zero outnumbers Kaname (SGK talked about this in one of her entries).

Where/when did Hino say which character represented her?

Yes. Hino might not be so straight forward about liking Kaname the most because as you've said, she doesn't want to be biased.

[Now, Kaname (stupidly - excuse me, but I found a hard silly, guy tries to build an intimate relationship with Yuuki and at the moment it can happen ... he vanished ._.)- Kaname left what he most wants and goes for the sacrifice ...]

I think it's because the past is still holding him down and he's a man of contradictions.

[Kaname is the VK of past. But Zero is also built with this stigma = VK. BB has already explained very well that perspective, I do not write better. So I think Zero is the VK for the future.]

I'm that I don't agree, but I'm determined that Kaname is the Vampire Knight. I used to think so too that Zero is the VK, but as each chapter came out, my opinion changed completely.
