i need help reacting to something
You have to be kidding me. Is Sony this fucking stupid? How in the hell do you fire Dan fucking Harmon from his own goddamn show? HOW? And then you hire two people that I have never heard of, that have NOTHING to do with this show, to fucking run it? The crack must be good over there. It's inconceivable to me that you fire the genius who gave us what is basically my happy place, and replace him with some others. Do they really fucking think this was a good thing? That we would jump for joy over this news? I know that the internet probably confuses them, so let us be quite clear- DAN HARMON IS COMMUNITY. COMMUNITY IS DAN HARMON. For better or worse. AND WE ALL KNOW THIS. We love him. (as Twitter proved last night) There are a shit ton of fans who give a great many fucks as to who is running our show. Assholes.
I can't even begin to process this. I want to cry so badly. I don't even know how to feel about season four now. I want to see it and I am going down with this show, but so many fucking pins have been shoved into our balloons, in the past few weeks that I feel like I can't. My emotions are all over the damn place. It would have been one thing if he wanted to leave, but to fucking remove him like this? GTFO, Sony. How the hell are you worse than NBC? Like, how is this humanly possible?
Then to know that a lot of writers/producers are leaving too? :( JFC, what the hell will we be left with? This is all just complete bullshit. I just want to hug everyone.
I am so grateful to Harmon, et al for giving me this show in the first place. This show has been the brightest part of my week for three years now and for that and all the joys they have given us, I don't think we can properly express how grateful we all are to them. This show was/is ( who the hell knows anymore) the best thing to come on tv in a good long while. There is nothing else like it on tv and that it so wonderful. Who wants to watch some bland piece of same when you can have your mind blown week in and week out? It's going to suck, not knowing what Dan would have done instead, but I am going to tune in still. I love this show. It's fans, the cast, everyone. I'm not ready to say good bye but I'm not going to lie, if this is it,. if we don't get a back 9, well, then, whatever. At least we had three years of epic storytelling and characters that were unique and wonderful. We can get through this. But JFC can the person who has the cursed monkey paw put the fucking thing away? You are not helping!
Thank you Dan Harmon, you gave me one of my favorite tv shows, you were unlike any other showrunner. Thank you so much and you will be missed.
