Meh. Maybe it's the number 22, maybe they have some kind of allergy to the number 22. I mean this was no way as bad as Art of Discourse but meh. I think giving birth is a big memorable event, too bad this ep isn't.
I am so glad though, that the baby is Andre's. :) (I don't think I could have handled Chang/Shirley's Crazy Parenting Adventures)
Although I will cop to the fact that I'm a little bummed for Chang. He was really, really sweet in this one. And gracious. But where the hell was this funny song he was supposed to sing? I swear Joel mentioned that Chang sang but why didn't that happen? Or did I tweak out and just make that up? ;p
I'm sorry but why wasn't this ep about Shirley? It was her big moment and all the show focused on was Britta's issues. *eye roll* She irritates the hell out me now :( I'm hoping that having delivered a baby will somehow "soften" her so that she's less bitchy and annoying. It was nice to see her and Jeff actually act like people who have real human emotions. But of course they like babies, didn't they have a conversation about that in 1.15?
Still. Why did Jeff push her to deliver the baby? Abed admitted that he had delivered a child earlier that year, why not go with the EXPERIENCED one? I know that Shirley didn't want him to see her neither region, but tell Mr. Roboto to delete the image from the files in his head and no problemo. And seriously show? Shirley didn't even look like she WAS having a baby. Her hair was still all nice and done and her make up was flawless. Are you kidding me?
And did Britta even wash her hands before she delivered the kid? I am so grossed out that she just sat down and was like, okay, lets do this! lol Like, Duncan had a whole shit ton of liquor in that classroom, has she never seen any medical shows? Pour some on and...is that even sanitary? lol
Anyways, Pierce trying to steal Troy and Abed's mojo was pointless and unfunny, I love Duncan and he left WAY too soon, Awe, Vicki and Neil :) <3 It does suck that it's all about our favorite study group! ;p
I love the dean. He and Troy are both the MVP's of this season. He is just too much.
I feel bad for Annie. She looked like she was pissed that they all threw the papers at her and that Duncan didn't take her report seriously. And she wasn't sitting with anyone in the group either. Are we about to get another Annie wants to leave, storyline? Cause I kinda don't blame her. Nobody has been real nice to her this season, Jeff basically called her delusional last week, and she's been regulated as a bit player for the past four eps. (I know next week is about her so, yay but still...)
I hope that she does leave for a little while. Then they all have to ban together and break her out of her new evil college.
And I hope she tells them all off, looks pointedly at Jeff and says, "There is nothing here for me." Then leaves.
Then of course, they all magically change her mind since Greendale wouldn't be the same without her and her new college will suck ass so she will magically be able to transfer back. Easy peasy.
Also, what will they all take next year? Will we find out in the middle of paintball? Cause that would be hilarious. There they are, ducking paint and students, and they're arguing over what to take next semester. You know they would.
Anyway- bring on paintball part deux- this time's it's personal.
