I am going to miss Twelve and Moffat so much. Moffat Who is my favorite version of the show. And this last episode was great. It was sad, funny, heartbreaking and full of twists. I loved watching Twelve and One interacting. It felt like a continuation of the banter between Ten, Eleven and War. The Doctor is just so judgemental and I am here for it. The size of the TARDIS, the inside and how the past one always is horrified by the future. It was so cool to see The First Doctor at the beginning of the whole adventure.
Being scared of change and getting a taste of what he will end up being. He may be called the Doctor of War, but that is because of all that he has seen and done. After all of it, every win, loss and all that he has gone through, all the pain and regenerations, at the end of it, the Doctor will stand where he falls. And he will get up and fight on. He believes in kindness. Above all else, just be kind. And I like that he spent his last moments trying to send a message to his future self. The lessons he has learned. And he did the hard thing- he let the Doctor go. I will miss the rockstar Doctor. It was so fun to watch Twelve go from short tempered, unsure of who he is, to being happy
. Bill made him smile and asked questions he had never heard before. And Nardole was someone he trusted and leaned on. I love seeing Bill give Clara back to Twelve. HIS FACE WHEN HE REMEMBERED HER. He was so thrilled to see her again. And Clara is back in the Doctor's mind again. And hopefully back in the hearts.
Rusty was a nice surprise. And learning that the WW1 soldier was related to the Brig! MOFFAT!
And Thirteen! I love that her first words upon seeing her reflection was, "oh, brilliant!". Yes, girl! And then she falls out of the TARDIS. * facepalm* oh, Doctor,
I cannot wait to see what Thirteen gets up too. But Twelve will be missed. I loved season ten and this Christnas episode. Peter was a great Doctor and Moffat was my favorite showrunner and writer. ❤❤
