Favorite Actor: Again, this is super hard! I really love everyonel
However Tim Omundson- I LOVED him on Psych. He's the reason why I watched this show in the first place. I love Richard so much. The arc that this character has gone on is just amazing. Season one slowly changed him. You see this man who kidnaps a woman and forced her into marriage. You thnk you know this story. And then you see how ridic he is. He just wanted someone to love him. He got a lot of tough love from Gareth and I wonder if he was the bad angel? Gareth wanted Richard to be a fierce kng and pushed him to be "manly". But Richard has a lifetime of self esteem issues.
His brother was clearly a dick and we saw in s2 , that he just wanted to be a good ruler. He wanted to be loved. He thought Maddie was the one, but girlfriend is ten shades of evil. He lost his idenity and his way. Everything fell apart on him. He had to rise to the occasion. And he did. He followed Galavant because he had zero to do. But eventually, he came to believe in the cause. He seems to strongly like Gal and I hope they are friends. He screws up more than he helps, but he tries.
And he finally fell into real love. He found someone who fully supported him. Go Bobbi!
Tim plays him with such depth. He can be the baffon, the angry guy, the coward and the hero. He sings like a freaking angel ( to paraphrase Gal). Richard could have been a one note character, the dim witted evil king. But they twisted that and the sincerity that Tim brings to this role is award worthy. You can tell how much fun they are having.
Tim has made me tear up during Richard's lullaby and I grinned like an idiot through My Dragon Pal and Me. I thank Tim for bringing to life this beautifully amazing character!
