What in the fucking hell was that?! Seriously, that was so fucking stupid, that I cannot even begin to care.
I bet they thought that that was justified, but it was so fucking out of character, that I feel amusement. Oh, I'm pissed off, but that was so pathetic, that I just laughed.
So, Maria calls at work and instead of calling her later, he gets super pissed off in a way that he has NEVER been before, punches a poor locker ( in his best Stabler impression) and snaps at Rollins. Who happened to be near him and tried to calm him down. And instead of opening her mouth and telling him that she will not be spoken to like that,she proceeds to snipe at him throughout and then get drunk off her ass and attack him? WTF? Since when is she a drunken fighter? The hell!
Why did she try to provoke him? What was she trying to prove? Did she expect him to hit her? Did she want to see if he would? Why did this angry drunk gnome possess her?
Why was she has okay with that dude hitting his wife? Since Rollins was possessed by a pod person, I will assume that this could have something to do with Atlanta. We know that the dude had been drinking. And that she needed to get out of Dodge. What if she was like this woman: didn't want to press charges and was forced too and it made her life an open book and she was publicly humiliated? This case could have triggered her and bam! Amaro gets heat ( like how he snapped at her because he was mad at Maria)
So. Where does that leave us? They are clearly no longer boning :-( but they have to see each other still. And I think they will talk out their issues, pine for a bit and then admit how much they care and miss each other. Who will crack first?
They at least said hey to each other. That is a good sign. They need to explain themselves and move past this. Not just as lovers, but as co workers.
Fin can keep an eye out, but he don't know. He has been gone so much! They are good together and good people. When they are allowed to be themselves and not crazy, angry, drunk, pod people. JFC.
