community rage and love
i always knew that this day would come. After the ratings fell this season and the terribleness that was season four, it felt like the writing was on the wall.
And yet? I am fucking gutted right now. I am in tears and I want to scream and rage. I have not enjoyed this show for the past two seasons, but clearly I am still very attached to this show.
I love the cast and I hope they go on to better things and have all the success that they deserve.
I do not regret a single second that I spent on this show. I am going to miss the characters so much.
Especially since we got no fucking closure, NBC! I need to see what will happen with j/a! I need to see them all become the best version of themselves. I NEED TO FUCKING SEE THEM. I am not ready for this ride to be over.
I need the Greendale 7 in my life. They have been there through some tough shit and I cannot thank them enough. Someone needs to save them. Please go to basic cable! It just needs one more fucking season! Let them finish it out. I fucking abhor NBC and I hope their shitty, pathetic, has been of an outdated network falls even further in the ratings. You are a truly horrific network and someday karma has to fucking come around.
To the cast: Joel, Alison, Yvette, Danny, Jim, Ken and Gillian- thank you. Thank you for five seasons of one of my favorite shows. I hope you all go off and have amazing careers! You brought me a lot of joy.
To Harmon- thank you for bringing these characters to us. This show was my happy place and while it also frustrated the living hell out of me, I enjoyed my time at Greendale. Thank you.
To the crew and writers- thank you for all the hard work you put in. This show looked and sounded like no other and that is largely due to you all. Thank you.
I cannot fucking believe that this will not be on, whenever the fuck they would have put you on. I am heartbroken and upset. But I am glad that I watched, even when you pissed me off ( which was a lot of the time) :-P
