Man, this feels so weird! It's been so long since Comm's even been on, that you tend to forget about it. And after the hateful season four...but I am ready to move on. I'm tired of hating this show and I just want to like it again. If last night means anything, we could get there. :)
I'm not ready to roll out the welcome back banner, just yet. i enjoyed the crap out of these two eps and I want to see where they are going, but I'm so gun shy after all that they've done. We've been here before, make it seem like the characters will stay grounded and then lose your way. So I'll be cautiously optimistic and love that we even have a fifth season!
Jeff being a teacher is so odd and yet, I hope he does well. I want to see him adjust to the new status. Will his relationship with the group change? And his relationship with Chang? And please tell me we were getting the old Chang again. I want him to be in a classroom so bad. I like Hickey (so far) but you do not get to mean to Leonard. NO! I guess he's the new Pierce so...
Pierce! Wow. I didn't think we'd see him again and now I can let go. I'm so glad that we were able to see him one last time. :)
I loved seeing Alan again and he really does bring the monster out in Jeff.
I'm saddend by how crappy Shirley's life turned out to be, wow. And I hope we find something better for Britta. Tacky Therapist needs to die. Annie being a dectective will be so awesome! And Abed's films can return, yes?

All in all I loved the meta, the funny was back and parts of this made me cry. Ha. <3
The seond one. :) The J/A stuff. Good times. i hope they can remain equals now. She doesn't have to be a little girl anymore. And I hope that Jeff starts to see her as a woman. I also need to see them develop a real friendship. I LOVED her turning the tables and teaching Jeff and his, " I hate her, I hate her, I hate her". <3 MY BBS.
Abed owned his storyline. I LOST it at the breakdown. Oh, abed. Prof. Garrity was a nice suprise. I think my favorite bit had to be the dean and his excel. OH MAN. The fact that he was sad over not teaching Jeff it and that his inner thoughts are sung by a French woman...*dead* THIS IS WHAT I MISSED. I hope they keep that forever.
I'm so glad to see my show again and I hope this is a sign that Dan wants to fix, ALL that was broken (not just the gas leak stuff. *forever dead at that*)
