How I Met Your Mother
I think it's clear by now that this show has no clue what to do with itself. Are they just stalling out until the wedding and season nine? Cause that is what it feels like. This was so pointless. It's understandable that Robin wouldn't want to spend the rest of her life in that apartment. Being constantly reminded of all the women he's had before (would he feel comforatable if she had a place like that? Oh wait, it's okay for him to be fucking creepy, gross and disgusting, but if Robin had a pad like that (but for men) that would just drive him nuts and she would have probably needed to give it up)
For him to dismiss her feelings and then brag about how disgusting he is (this show has a serious problem with women and heavy set women in particluar) and then in the end, get exactly what he wants? (the apartment stays) WTF and how the hell is asking him to live with her in a clean house (so to speak) "changing" him? She has NEVER asked anything of him. This was the one thing she asked of him, and they couldn't let it happen. Oh, sure he was willing to leave (and that was nice of him) but in the end, they had her cave AGAIN and he learned nothing. Barney will always be Barney, no matter where they live. She agreed to marry him, so its not like she has no idea what kind of person he is, by leaving behind that, lets be honest here, whorehouse, it shows that he is willing to put her first. That her feelings/happiness matters most. Instead, we get this shit. He needs to stop clinging to his slutty past and move on. I hope that soon he realizes that she was right and they do move out.
As for the other three- Downton Abbey stuff, Lily jumping for the Captain, Ted/Marshall...urgh who cares? That was just so stupid. and that girl really thinks she can what, cure the gay from Ted if she sleeps with him? WTF. I can't. this show needs to hurry up and be over. I should be so happy that my people are engaged, and instead, they keep making me wonder why Robin wants him. I hate this Barney. URGH. They need more sweetness.
