(no subject)
Wow ... have you ever had one of those times when you knew without a doubt that God was working through you because there's no possible way you could have done it on your own? I definetely had that happen on Friday! I am in no way a speaker ... I don't really mind being up in front of people and talking or singing ... but to speak intellectually for 40 minutes ... that's a little out of my league (so I thought). However ... the talk went really good ... everyone was really responsive (suprisingly) ... and it was actually pretty fun! lol! No doubt, though, that it was all a God-thing that it went so well! God's amazing like that! :o)
So ... pretty decent weekend I'd say. Friday ... the talk ... then work ... then I hung out with the guys, playing Halo 2 (and old school 007 Golden Eye ... that was hardcore!). Then Saturday... taught piano ... had brunch with my parents ... went and watched the guys play b-ball ... then hung out at Josh's ... bought Anna the best b-day present ever ... watched the first half of the Apple Cup with my Roomie (aka Lindsey) and Josh ... went to Anna's b-day party ... went back to Josh's ... then went home. Today was pretty uneventful, however.
Hooray for half days this week ... then no school thursday or friday!!!
