its physically impossible for me to update this thing. Every time i sit down and start writing, something needs to be done and I forget about it. This entry has been a work in progress for a long time.

last weekend, i went to st. louis with my buddy joe (whom i am just a little bit smarter than) and we attended the College Democrats of America National Convention. We had a blast. We met people from all across the country and across the state. The Kentucky delegation became fast friends, and we did a lot of awesome stuff there in St. Louis, including eating at applebees two days in a row and not going up in the arch despite multiple attempts. oh yeah and dodging cars because there was a freaking tornado there the day before we showed up and none of the stop lights worked. also, my check engine light lit up in nashville, illinois and wound up costing me $415 at a firestone in west STL. But we still had a ton of fun, and I met a who bunch of nice people.

while we were there, i discovered a lack on action from our state federation, which is a big shame. i've been working hard to do something about it since I got back. Also, the UK College Democrats have been fighting to keep academic freedom at UK. Our SGA wants to lobby the state government for a "Student Bill of Rights" which seeks to keep professors from "indoctrinating" students. Its a ploy to get David Horowitz's goals accomplished and we are doing everything we can to stop it. So, College Democrats- full of action.

Tomorrow (or I guess today) I'm tabling for UK Greenthumb at the Forecastle Festival. Should be pretty awesome, I think, plus I get free tickets.

Today I went to the movies with my sister and our friend Tim. Its strange to think that we have friends that are the same. Anyways, we saw Pirates, which was a lot better than everybody said it was. Especially the New York Times. Treasonous Elitists...

I also hung out with Catherine tonight, and it was a lot of fun cruising Bardstown, because thats just how we roll.

have fun everybody.
