still missing my Coastie
I got a call this morning at 4:15...he was about to report to the academy, and he just wanted to say goodbye...*sob*
My baby is officially gone for the next four months...and frankly, I have no clue on what to do with myself but to stay home and cry.
I want to extend the warmest thanks to Pip and Drea for helping me through these hard times and not letting me fall into utter depression and my wine collection. They have proven to be the greatest friends I could ask for. There is a reason why Jesse always said that these two girls are the only ones he would trust with me. Because he did intrust me to them, and nowadays, a phone call from either of them (usually both) is all the support I need to get through the day without falling apart. Thanks girls, I love you both so much. Once I get better, we will have sushi in Japantown on me!
I also joined this online community for wives/girlfriends of OCS people. I have a profile and everything...I am a dork. But, its comforting to know that I am not the only one...
