A Full Fledged Update

It's been a few days since I last left you with a couple new news stories about yours truly. And once again, I have to go off and apologize to my journal for always ignoring it. My friends are all probably getting pissy at me for not updating as much as I should, but as I've said in the past, I'm not going to post something about how I just put ten dollars gas in my car or about how I've been sitting here on my ass all day. This time I actually have something to type about.
In regards to my health, it's been a little longer than a week now and my wrist and arm feel a lot better, I'm still wearing the wrist support mom got me though. I actually did a light basketball workout the other day just to see how it felt because it was pretty nice outside, and it went well but my fingers were kind of tingly after it, so I just resorted to relaxing it for a bit. Today it feels a lot better, and I haven't been getting tingly feelings when I wake up like I slept on it or anything either so that's usually a good sign.
My computer was returned to me in reformatted fashion and now the printer works fine, so I must have caught a nice virus which decided to leave after the damage was done. I reinstalled my virus scanner and digital camera too, and Jonathan told me to just watch what I downloaded from now on, because programs like Limewire sometimes have a lot of viruses transferred through them. I actually went and downloaded Firefox to help me with some of those problems, because I don't really trust Internet Explorer anymore. I haven't had a virus warning yet on Firefox, it asks me if I'd like to download things and I get to choose what to download and what not to, it's pretty good and I'd recommend it.
In other news, I've just been hanging around a lot lately with Damion in attempts to cheer him up since his significant other has been gone. We went to his cousin Jeanette's house in Jefferson Valley for the weekend, it was a lot of fun, despite her having two kids who like to wake up at 6:30 in the morning and one of them liking to crawl on me and sit on my head, etc. Damion and I went bull riding and I managed to be really sore now in my thighs, my walk is now more of a shuffle or waddle and I'm constantly grunting, I have a nice sized bruise on my right inner thigh but we did manage to get pictures of it taken. I'll probably put that on my Myspace whenever they come through. I think we're heading back up there this weekend and going to this nightclub in Poughkeepsie, so hopefully I can walk by then.
There hasn't been any work to speak of, I'm still trying to gather up enough gall to go next door and tell the neighbor that I won't be bartending when the club reopens. I better do it soon before they call me and I have to talk to someone and tell them no, in my mind it'll look bad because I've had all this time to decide and waited until they called me to say no, you know? I've just been going to karaoke weekly and trying to meet up with no people, still haven't gotten any dates or anything to be really energetic about.
So, all in all, it's been the same old stuff, but with more road tripping. Damion and I went to Valhalla today to check out SUNY Westchester, and he's been taking me to a couple places for him to fill out applications for bartending leads that he's gotten. I'm starting to really like spending time outside of my town, I'd like to see more of outside of Norwalk and even make it a point to see most of the US before something happens to me.
