Free Pizza and Cowl Day!
AKA: Why I decided to IM/Text people in other states randomly mentioning Pizza.
Anyone who knows anything about upcoming movies knows about The Dark Knight's viral marketing. Their latest venture was a pizza promotion powered by Dominos Pizza.
Recent clues submitted by The Joker, as well as the opening of GothamCityPizzeria.com , told of a special promotion going on today.
Apparently it was free pizza.
The promotion was on a first come/first serve basis, and the ONLY two in RI were in Pawtucket and Riverside. Apparently I'm the only geek in Riverside that was paying attention :P So I ordered my free medium with sausage and waited on my front porch.
The delivery guy brought me my pizza and a mysterious black plastic bag. Inside the bag was a Batman cowl and a letter. The letter read as such:

The authorities are after us, so we had to be a little secretive about our hide-out. Here is a little something to point you in the right direction:

The highlighted blue link above was one of 12 different clues to a weblink, including a login name and password. The ending result was this weblink:

This link leads to a forum based on citizens of Gotham who are in support of Batman and his fight against crime.
So before finding the end result, I decided to bug as many people I knew in other states to order free pizza and help with the puzzle. But there were only so many locations per state.
So that's the highlight of my day. Free pizza, free cowl, bugging other people who are busy at work over games.
It's all part of the plan ^.^
