Thanksgiving in Yap, Micronesia

Haha. Awesome. My Thanksgiving was turkey free also, but today I went and bought some turkey breast lunch meat from the Comercial Mexicana!

We arrived home after on out thanks giving that lasted for 39 Hours, with only 8 hours of total sleep (5 in guam and 3 on plane). It was strange to leave Japan at 5:30 and arrive at our home in Dallas at 5:30 ( ... )

I would say "Variety is the spice of life" but it sounds like far too much airline food!

I had my first American Thanksgiving in three years, however it was also Turkey free because I am a vegetarian (for half my life now as of this fall.) However, my German husband could not refrain from making dumb comments about how people claim that Germany, mistreats Turkey, while the USA eats it.
