From Orebic via Korcula, Hvar & Split, Croatia, to Bratislava, Slovakia

Unbelievable day, rocking with wine from last night and feeling no pain to feeling intense pain when the digital alarm went off at 4:30 to pack and catch the 5:20 am ferry. Arrgggg. Pop aspirins like M&Ms. Ummmm, good flight but late as usual for Sky Europe, our little Central European discount airlines that I handled the due diligence and some paperwork for their big investment that allowed them to start flying places to Barcelona and Croatia, and thus my life completes more circles.

I have seen the Ambassador from Germany twice today and spoke with her now on the street. She asked where I disappeared to for so long -- Bulgaria was my answer, and now maybe Micronesia. As a career diplomat, she actually knows where it is.

And a new restaurant was constructed and opened in the 6 days I was gone. Kebab House. Middle Eastern food I love at great prices. And the same restaurant name as the one in Denver (still open on South Colorado Boulevard) that I managed for my friends Ashraf & Hassan for 6 months. More circles.

Danka reminded me that we had both met the President of Croatia 3 years ago. His name was Stjepan Mesic; it was a Diplomatic thing co-sponsored by my university. I forgot that I met the President of the Country I was in.

Had to come to the favorite internet cafe to get Abba's "Super Troper" out of my head. Too much cheesy German cabaret lip-synching entertainment in Orebic.
