So, It's actually been a while since I've had something substantial to put in here... Yesterday was my first day in the new position at Sprint, as a Project Manager within their Custom Network Solutions department. Basically, I'll be tasked with managing the large deployments we do for our large corporate clients. It's been over 5 years since I've had to deal with being the "new guy" and I am looking forward to it. While I'm nervous, I'm also excited for the new challenges - things definitely got a bit too complacent. It's going to involve A LOT of travel and I already find myself in Atlanta, then onto New Orleans then Denver between now and the first week of December. It's definitely going to be a lifestyle change, living on the road most weeks but it's something I'm glad I'm doing now before I have a family, etc. Things will be busy - between the travel, dealing with new customers every project, getting my PMP certification, etc but I'm looking forward to taking the bull by the horns and running with it. It's an opportunity I've been waiting for now I just have to make sure I take full advantage of it...
