Roger was still a little wrung out from the whole thing with Lavender from the day before. Babysitting wasn't something he should probably be doing in his current mood. Getting drunk with Eddie was probably what he should be doing, but that took coordination.
Mandy was always good fun, though. She was easy enough to be around and had just handed him the perfect reason to tease her. He absolutely could not pass this up.
He talked his younger sister into staying their aunt, left a note for him mother so she knew where Kirsten was, and made use of his newly legal ability to Apparate.
Within minutes, he was knocking on Mandy's door.
