trying out ell•Jay
I got Tiger last night, and installed it on a couple of machines, using different install procedures. One was an upgrade, one was an archive and install, and one was a clean install on a fresh partition. As far as I can tell, they all worked as advertised, and all work the same. Since none of the machines are the samekind, G3, old G4, G4 laptop, newer dual processor G4, there is no direct comparason, but they all seem to be working fine.
There is a dashboard widget called ell•Jay that is supposed to let me post directly into my live journal. I am using that now, and gona see if this works. If so, I may be encouraged to make more frequent, shorter posts. Will have to see how that works out.
