Easy Day
So, the following probably won't make much sense to most of you, or at least my excitement surrounding this news won't make much sense, but bear with me...
I'VE GOT ORDERS!!!
Yes indeed I've got in my hand right now the first set of orders I will have as a Commissioned Officer. Why is this so cool? Well, partly because it makes all of this actually seem real and worthwhile, but also because it allows me to begin planning the next phase of my Naval career. So without further adue...
I am to report to NMITC (Navy Marine Corps Intelligence Training Center), VIRGINIA BEACH, VA NLT (No Later Than) 27FEB06 enrolled in BOLTC (Basic Officer Leadership Training Course) 27FEB06 - 03MAR06. Immediately followed by enrollment in NIOBC (Naval Intelligence Officer Basic Course) 06MAR06 and scheduled to graduate 21JUL06.
Where I am odered after that will depend on my class standing @ NIOBC and of course "subject to the needs of the Navy."
As for what I'll be doing between when I graduate OCS/Comission 06JAN06...

Yes people you heard me. I am being sent to NRS (Naval Recruiting Station) LAS VEGAS, NV for about 6 weeks of OHARP Duty (Officer Home Area Recruiting Program). I'll probably take about 10 days leave first which will put me in Vegas sometime around 16JAN.
So with that said... those of you living in Vegas... ummmm do you need a roommate for a while? I'll pay rent. Don't sweat it though, if all else fails I'll ask my Aunt and Uncle if I can stay in my Cousin's old room.
Anyways, thats all I've got for now. Life is good, busy, exhausting. I wouldn't have it any other way (except for maybe getting at least 4 hrs sleep/night, that'd be nice). I hope all is well with y'all, I'd love to hear from ya.
