Well let's see - it looks like
my fanart gallery decided to completely freak out on me so now I can't login to upload anything and the hosting service isn't interested in helping us out. So we're going to be moving it to my Sarah Connor gallery hosting service and I get to reload it again from scratch...because you know it's not like I'm not sick of moving photo galleries after spending the last month moving and re-uploading my 3 Terminator galleries from scratch:
TSCC Promo photos gallery,
TSCC actors Gallery, and
Terminator Films gallery. Combined - I loaded 122,503 photos into them! GAAAHHH!!!!
Good news about it there won't be any obvious ads on it - the GoDaddy one piss me off on it. Also I've asked Kate to load our favorite slate gray background and I'll get to make a spiffy, pretty new banner for it. I've been wanting to make a new one for
my art blog anyways - so this is a good opportunity for me to just do it all at once. At least I've only got 2000+ of my art stuff to move over and upload. *Sigh*
What else? Oh yeah SMALLVILLE - seriously why do they feel that Clark always has to be mopey and ball-less at the end of each season? God I so don't care about that show anymore.
Supernatural was alright last night, I'll have to watch it again I fell asleep towards the end. I'm waiting for next week w/ the huge Castiel/Alistair showdown.
Bones and ER were the best hours of TV last night. George Clooney....god I've missed that man on TV.
Finally, with the distinct lack of any promotion over the last 2 weeks for anything Terminator or Dollhouse related on FOX - I'm convinced that after the season ends we'll get the announcement that Fox is canceling both shows. I only hope that the rumors that WB has shopped TSCC to Sci-Fi are true. The Sci-Fi channel would actually give the series the respect that it deserves - that it's not just a funny, quirky teeny-bopper show but a very deep, serious insight into the morality and struggle of man versus artificial intelligence. Also with SGA and BSG both gone - Caprica is unproven and many BSG fans aren't that interested in it. SGU has a great cast and I think it will take off when it premieres - but I don't see how it and SANCTUARY alone can keep the network going. They need another big series to lure in more fans and TSCC would be a great way to lure newer and younger viewers to their network.
Unfortunately TSCC developed into a series that is WAY too cerebral for network television. Combine that w/ the economy sucking and people just want to laugh and not think of serious matters - there's little wonder that it's suffering in the ratings. This of course sucks because really it's the best, BEST show on TV, particularly after Fox removed their fingers out of it and allowed our writers to just get back to doing what they do best and crafting complicated, deep story-arcs. THE GOOD WOUND, SOME MUST WATCH WHILE SOME MUST SLEEP, and OURSELVES ALONE were 3 of the shows brightest, sharpest, and smartest episodes of the season...and sadly not many people got to see them.
*Sigh* I'll despise Fox for canceling it, but I can't say that I blame them. If it was holding at 5 million viewers it would have a chance but at less than 4 each week, they'd be morons to keep it on the air. Oh well SCS.net will stay alive even if the show doesn't get moved to another network, we'll still support the great cast that Josh introduced to all of us :(
