[Spoiler (click to open)] So I don't know exactly what happened, but it seems as though getting rid of Alan Ball as the Head EP was a good move for the show. I've felt pretty much mostly blah about the show since season 2, the addition of yummy Alcide is about the only good thing to come out of season 3 and last year felt like season 2 all over again w/ a crazy whack-a-mole unlikable crazy bitch in the center of things.
This season is GREAT so far! I can only think that it's because they're really focusing back on the vampires again and face it, they are the heart of the show and should be front and center. I love them pairing Sookie & Lafayette together again - they're friends and it's nice to see Sookie relating to someone who she doesn't want to screw.
Poor Tara, she's got herself a hell of a tiger as a maker, seeing her relationship w/ Pam progress should be interesting. One of the best things is to take a character and turn them into the thing that they hate most - having Tighe be one of the final 5 cylons on BSG was a great twist, just like this is w/ Tara.
Jason's having deep thoughts about his psyche? Oh dear lord. The fairies are up to something. Emma is an adorable puppy wolf, what the heck is going on w/ Terry? Andy and the waitress are cute.
The Authority bores me some, but oh well, bring on the hunt for Russell!
