So I've been blasting through my CHARMED DVDS in prep for the new series of comics that have just hit the shelves.
The GIRLS ARE BACK!
Zenescope's newest comic book series, CHARMED, follows the beautiful Halliwell sisters: Phoebe, Piper and Paige, who come from a line of powerful but good witches as they battle against evil beings in modern day San Fransisco.
Claiming their victory in the battle against evil, the sisters were free to settle into regular lives, destined to live out their happily ever afters... or so they thought. Now the sisters must go up against a new evil that threatens to destroy them all! This is the series you've been waiting for!
Based off of the hit Television Series! Written by Paul Ruditis and Raven Gregory with interior artwork by Dave Hoover! Covers by Greg Horn, David Seidman, Al Rio and more!! Issue #0 hits shelves in June!

Issue #0 has hit the shelves -basically it's a recap of everything that occurred in the 8 seasons of the series. It tells you what happened each season, who each character is, and contains some of the more notorious spells. The end has a preview for issue #1 in which Piper's boys appear to be grade school age. Issue #1 will be available at Comic Con.
The artwork is gorgeous - a bit on the cartoony side which makes it very fun - not over the top "she-woman" like some comics do. I'm so looking forward to these!
