TV Ramblings
So GLEE got renewed for a second season - I didn't doubt that and am glad.
I'm however more glad that CHUCK is kicking butt in ratings and has come back hilariously strong for it's 3rd season. God I've missed CHUCK. I feel like in many ways it's like my new FRIENDS. I LOVE these characters, and even more than FRIENDS because I can relate more to the geeks who're all over the CHUCK cast. Not looking forward to Kristin Kreuk's arrival, but oh well.
LEGEND OF THE SEEKER has finally found it's direction. The first eps w/ them trying to figure out Cara's place in the group left the eps a little uneven, but everything is pretty solid now. Loved this last weeks episode - things are about to really take off.
The idiots over on SMALLVILLE had better start releasing more Clois-related spoilers. Seriously, everywhere I look online all that anyone can talk about is the great rapport this season with Lois and Clark, it's proof that people don't give a fig about Chloe - face it a formula that's worked for 70 years isn't broken. New eps FINALLY next week for it!
HAPPY TOWN - I got to see a sneak of the pilot for this show that's coming to ABC. They apparently have a panel going on at the TCAS today, I'm mightily looking forward to finding out when this is going to air, the pilot was AWESOME. Creepy, weird, twisted small town drama - I guess it's kind of like TWIN PEAKS, but I wouldn't know, I didn't watch that. Sam Neill steals every scene that he's in. All that I can say is BRING IT ABC!
AMERICAN IDOL - yeah I'm not bothering to watch American Idol until Hollywood week. I've had enough of the crappy auditions, thank you very much. I have better things to do w/ my time than listen to bad singers. Interested to see how THE X-FACTOR will work here in the US (Simon's new show - open to all ages, can include bands.) Simon's leaving Idol might mark the end of my watching it. I love how brutally honest he is.
HEROES - I still enjoy this show. The biggest surprise for me is that Claire has become my favorite character this season. I think that Hayden must've taken some acting lessons because she's really shined this season. It's been great seeing Claire come out of her shell and become independent and strong. I love Sylar and I love Samuel because I just ADORE Robert Knepper. Call me weird but I think that T-Bag was my favorite character on PRISON BREAK because Knepper is just so compelling. How can I not love a show that has my 2 favorite actors to play bad guys on it? HRG has been great this season being all lost and confused. The 3 amigos (Hiro, Ando, and Mohinder) together now should make for great comedy.
CASTLE- Castle has been great this season, better than last. I fell asleep during last night's ep - not a mark on the ep but my usual being tired on Mondays. Alyssa and Nathan had great chemistry. I can't wait for next week - again they're bringing up Becket's mother's murder.
