And so we come to Week 10 of Quarter 4.
Yesterday was well spent at
Roger Williams Park and taking photos for the
HDR Homework for Photography Class. I have to say once I got the hang of I think I may take more pictures like that. I just need to make sure I actually use the tripod this time.
Roger Williams Park was one of the first places we had gone to for Photography back during Quarter 1 and I have to say, in the daylight and in the warm weather it's a great place to take photos. And, parking over near the Casino is absolute dream.
It was funny watching the Canadian Geese in the pond. Watching them swarm a car waiting patiently for food that never came. I'll post a picture of it later.
Overall this quarter for Photography has been mostly inside taking product shots of something I have at least 13 of: Action Figures (!) for a catalogue we're doing next Quarter something a larf since Quarter 1 we were outside from Oct-Dec freezing our butts off.
I've been on the fence about where to post my photos. I do enjoy posting them and as much as I enjoying posting them to the
photolog, I think it's time to embrace either
Flickr or Deviant Art.
In other news, I have finished
Rosemary and Rure by
seanan_mcguire and liked it a lot. Am now working on
The Red Tree by
greygirlbeast. Once the Sony Daily Edition Reader comes out in December (hello Birthday and Christmas Present). As much as I enjoy the physical book in my hand and see a bookshelf full of books, the thought of a having everything in one place is horder's dream.
On the novel front not much movement, mostly synopsis and such. Daylight Savings Time kicks in the first day of
NaNoWrimo.
On the Television front: All sorts of TV starts next week, Fringe, Community and Glee are so far good. Bored to Death, Dollhouse, Day One, Flashfoward, V, Caprica, Dexter, Californication are on the list to watch.
And lastly, kids, remember: When driving on the highway, the slow speed lane is not the texting lane. If I could have taken a picture of this person this morning doing this next to me while she ambled all over the road while she texted someone I would have if I wasn't driving...
