Swine Flu?

Swine Flu?

Greeeat, so instead of being taken out by Randall Flag we get Miss Piggy and Link Hearthrob. I hope whatever this is doesn't get worse.

In other normal news, we're cresting towards Week 5 of Quarter 3. School going well. No problems there.

In Xbox360 news broke down and COD WAW. (gt: rkbentley). WAW moreso than the other FPS Games out there requires playing with friends who, you know, actually talk to each other. Gah. Who in this day and age doesn't have a headset and mic, wtf.

In Mac news: I'm holding short on getting an iMac.

The ATI 4850 seems to be having freezing problems (this is why you troll the boards at macrumors among other places before you buy) and Apple appears for now to be doing the same thing they did before when stuff like this happened: Ignore it and replace it.

Honestly, I'm still on the fence between a MacBook Pro, iMac and Mac Pro. All of them have their pros and cons. I want portability and I want power and I also want to be able to render stuff in Poser or Cararra. The good thing is with WWDC coming in June 2009 it just means I can wait until the annoucements are over then decide. And, honestly, if you are in the mood for a Mac wait until after WWDC, better to be safe than sorry.

On a side note: I dropped my iPhone in the grass, it had a case on it so I figured it was fine, instead I get back inside and lookie lookie a horizontal crack across the screen. So much for reselling once the new revisions come out in June.
In Work news: We had no water yesterday from 9am-4pm. That was fun. We started comparing the quality of fast food bathrooms on RTE 2.

So much fun someone did this.

Today is slightly different in the fact WWE Wrestlers Tyme Cryme and Mickie James are going to be at Warwick Mall Cox Store from 5-7pm signing and taking pictures due to the WWE Event on Sunday Night and I'm taking pictures of the event.

Part of me is happy to give my Canon 40D a proper shakedown.

The other part of me is wondering why we didn't have this at the Call Center like all the other meet and greets where we could control the crowd more easily. The fact 92 Pro FM is advertising it every single morning on the drive in just makes me shake my head and mutter "We all doomed."

And, the other part of me is telling the other two to shut up and enjoy the OT Pay.

The camera is charged, sun screen has been applied and sooner or later I'll have to roll for the mall (yes, the HIMYM reference is not lost on me ;) ).

Least I get to miss the oh so lovely commentary of the FOX Annoucers on the Red Sox VS. Yankee Game at 4pm...
