Sundays...
So, Friday's ratings are in and if SCC's ratings don't get better I don't foresee SCC getting a 3rd season. Unless they move it to a night that doesn't include CBS Friday Night lineup.
Personally, I suprised they just don't move it to Sci-Fi and get it over with. I'm sure they can find the budget somewhere.
Dollhouse certainly didn't suck and certainly didn't go out like gang busters. It was kinda in the middle. The reviews weren't stellar but the idea is there and whole it felt over explained enough for everyone it did answer some interesting questions about how you can tweek someones memories.
On a side note: I checked the Cable EOD and did not find FOX anywhere, FX they had, but no FOX shows. So, if you missed it, I recommend hitting up Fox.com or Hulu. I will give FOX some credit the videos they've been posting on the Dollhouse site are a good idea.
Now, as for BSG, well, while the episode explained a lot, it explained a lot. In fact, it was too much of an info dump, imho. The little blurb on AICN's weekly BSG Episode Post explained what Anders was trying to get across better than he did.
I don't know if The Plan or Caprica series was even greenlit when this episode was but I agree with Red Right Hand, it would have been better to keep the entire episode with Ellen then next week have the Anders surgery.
After the last two weeks of jaw dropping I think this episode tried to out do the last two weeks and just fell short.
Lastly, the first of two episodes based in the Half Life 2 Universe entitled Escape from City 17 from the Purchase Bros, their rest of the videos are quite good, btw. This has been making the rounds on the f-list/twitter and while the reports of it being made for $500, I think we can all agree transport and catering was the $500. The cameras, costumes, props and CGI were not. Brings back lovely memories of head crabs and crowbars. :)
