Spent most of yesterday afternoon with
my bro updating my headshot and have to say after we got the pose and the lighting right he took some good shots. Watching him do all the work in
Aperture makes me want to buy it after the tax refund arrives.
I think I've finished tweaking (shifting ad space around)
The Legend of Lili Deacon Site. Granted,
Comic Press 2.5 will be arriving soon so more tweaking may be on the horizon.
Web Comic Book is being shipped from Amazon shortly.
It's funny jumping back into the deep end, again. 12 years ago we dropped $1k for 500 copies of Totems #0 from the local printer. And, with the Jambooks.com crashing and burning the way it did, I kinda glad we waited this long to join the bang wagon of webcomics.
As for
Script Frenzy, write ins should be back on track this week. The script has been sitting there giving me the stink eye. The crossroad between faithfully adapting it and ignoring the source material has gone from a crossroad to a six lane higway.
Have a meeting with the New England Tech Admisson Officer on Thursday, hopefully my RIC transcripts will be down there by then. I'm assuming at least a few of my old course credits will translate over.
They actually have Game Development and Simulation Programming aka Video Game Design as a Associate/Bachelor Degree. I'm honestly tempted on looking into that more.
If all this going back to the school at night actually happens in October then I forsee
NaNoWrimo meet ups being on the weekends only. Hell, you never know, I did see a few posters for write ins on the NEIT Bulletin Boards, may be able to grow our numbers.
Granted, that's 7 months away. But, I tend to think that way at times.
