When in doubt, buy fresh...
So, after much thought, I decided to get some fresh plants for Baal and his tank. The bulbs I got were either duds or I'm a bad planter which is a bad sign since my Grandma had a green thumb like you wouldn't believe
And, I managed to even freshen up his water while I was at it. Mental note: Skittish Betta Fish is harder to catch than a 5year old after being told they're going to the dentist.
I checked out Petco again for filters and plants, plants were easy. They didn't have the filter I wanted but did have one similar to it and it has suction cups instead of sitting on top of the tank and I think the intake won't suck Baal in like it did before.
I visited the Betta Section and the boys and girls looked worse than when I showed up two weeks ago to buy Baal. Too bad the males kill each other I'm tempted on getting a female but my living room is going to run out of space at the rate things are going.
After buying the new filter I'm not buying anything else, the tank is full enough as it is right now.
Off to bed and then tomorrow, Brotherhood extra casting call! And, judging by the small article in Projo and every other paper, I get the feeling it's gonna be a Maaaaaaaaad House.
